Mohamed El-Shennawy leads the perfect formation for the round of 16 in the African Nations Cup

Mohamed El-Shennawy, the Egyptian national team goalkeeper, topped the ideal formation for the round of 16 competitions of the 2021 African Nations Cup, which is currently being held in Cameroon, after the impressive level he presented during the confrontation with the Ivory Coast national team, before he was injured and replaced by goalkeeper Mohamed Abu Jabal.

The global “Hoscord” website revealed the best formation during the round of 16 confrontations in the current African Nations Cup, led by goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawy after the outstanding level he presented during the confrontation with Côte d’Ivoire.

The ideal formation also included Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi after the wonderful goal he scored against Malawi, in addition to Senegalese star Sadio Mane.

The match between Egypt and Morocco in the quarter-finals of the African Nations will be held at five in the evening next Sunday, at the “Ahmadou Ahidjo” stadium in the Cameroonian city of Yaounde.

Egypt qualified for the quarter-finals after defeating Côte d’Ivoire on penalties 5-4 after a negative tie in the original and extra time, while Morocco reached the same round after beating Malawi 2-1 in the round of 16.

It is worth noting that the winner of the confrontation between Cameroon and Gambia, will meet the qualifier from the meeting of Egypt and Morocco in the semi-finals of the African Nations Cup.
