Mohamed Salah’s Contract Renewal with Liverpool

Press reports revealed the latest developments in the renewal of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah’s contract with Liverpool.

Sky Sports correspondent said that Salah and the club are now talking about a new contract.

He added that no agreement has been reached between the two parties. And, the talks between them have not reached the final stages yet.

He commented, “They have spoken but no progress has happened yet.”

Mohamed Salah’s contract with Liverpool expires after two seasons. That is in June 2023.

In fact, Liverpool striker Salah had previously revealed last May that no one from the club had contacted him regarding a new contract.

Salah has been a great deal with the Reds. Since he joined from Roma in 2017, for a transfer fee of 42 million euros.

Salah scored 125 goals and 47 assists in 203 games for the club.

Salah also won the European Champions League. The European Super Cup, the Club World Cup. And the English Premier League titles with the Reds.
