
Napoli strengthens its lead in the Italian League by four against Sassuolo
Napoli swept its guest Sassuolo by four clean goals, this Saturday evening, in the 12th round of the Italian League competition, at the “Diego Armando Maradona” stadium.
The Napoli team was the most dominant in the attacking side throughout the 90 minutes of the match, in front of a modest performance from Sassuolo.
Nigerian international Victor Osimhen opened the Napoli quartet against Sassuolo with a goal in the 4th minute of the first half. The Nigerian star strengthened the Napoli team’s lead against Sassuolo with a second goal in the 19th minute of the match.
The South Club team intensified its attack on Sassuolo’s goal in order to secure the lead with a third goal and kill the match against Sassuolo.
In the 36th minute, Khafisha Kvaratskhelia scored the third goal for Napoli against Sassuolo, making the score 3-0 in favor of Maradona’s grandchildren.
Victor Osimhen scored his third and fourth goal for Napoli against Sassuolo, in the 77th minute of the second half.
With this result, the Napoli team consolidates its lead in the Italian league standings, reaching 32 points, 6 points behind Milan, the runner-up with 26 points, while Sassuolo’s balance is stuck at 15 points in ninth place.
