The company owned by Barcelona defender Gerard Pique bought the rights to broadcast the French League matches until 2024 in Spain.

This allows Barcelona fans to watch its former legendary star Lionel Messi playing in the Paris Saint-Germain shirt this season.

And this is after his transfer in a free transfer deal during the current summer transfers.

According to the Spanish newspaper, Sport:

Pique’s company, Cosmos, wants to capitalize on Messi’s influence on French football among Spanish fans.

The financial terms of the deal were not announced, although the previous contract owned by the “Movistar” station did not exceed 2.5 million euros annually.

Barcelona has issued a new official statement regarding the injury of its defender, Gerard Pique, in the Athletic Bilbao match that brought the two teams together last Saturday night.
