Paris Saint-Germain will meet, on Saturday evening, with its opponent, Monaco, in the framework of the French League championship, and the “Louis II” stadium will host the two teams’ match, which comes within the framework of the twenty-third round of the league, season 2022/23.
The first round match between the two teams this season, at the “Princes’ Park” stadium, ended in a positive draw with a goal for the same, and Paris Saint-Germain has 54 points in first place, while Monaco is in fourth place with 44 points.

Where Christophe Galtier, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, had talked about the injuries in his team, before facing Monaco in the French League, which is scheduled for today, Saturday, in the matches of the 23rd round of the French League.
Galtier’s remarks before Paris Saint-Germain’s match against Monaco
“Lionel Messi, who has a hamstring injury, will miss the Monaco match, but he will be ready to face Bayern Munich on Tuesday in the Champions League,” Galtier said in statements carried by Radio Monte Carlo.
Galtier confirmed the absence of Kylian Mbappe from the Monaco match as well, after the injury against Montpellier in the league, which ended with the Parisian giant winning 3-1, in the 21st round of the French League, and Ashraf Hakimi also announced the readiness for the Monaco match.
Regarding the Bayern Munich match, he said, “There was talk about Mbappe not being available for three weeks. He is undergoing treatment, and we will see the possibility of him being in the Bayern Munich match, but his chance is slim. The player’s health comes first.”
He continued, “We know the importance of Leo in our style of play, with his absence in the Monaco match, we will have to play in a different way to have a more solid and tighter team structure.”
Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann said earlier: “I can’t believe that Mbappe will miss our match. I expect him to play. I don’t know his injury. The statement on the Paris Saint-Germain website is very vague. I can’t imagine him missing the match.”
This match is the last rehearsal for Paris Saint-Germain before Tuesday’s match against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
