Paris Saint-Germain announces the absence of Wijnaldum for 3 weeks due to an ankle injury

French club Paris Saint-Germain revealed that the Dutchman, Georginio Wijnaldum, was absent from the team for 3 weeks, after injuring his ankle at the level of his left foot, during the team’s confrontation with Brest in the framework of the twenty-first round of the league championship.

And Paris Saint-Germain announced, on its official website, that the player will be out of action for 3 weeks, after suffering an ankle injury to his left foot.

Wijnaldum participated in the match between Paris Saint-Germain, which defeated Brest 2-0 on Saturday in the twenty-first stage of the French League.

Wijnaldum fell to the ground in pain from an injury to the ankle of the left foot after a contact with one of the Brest players.

The Dutchman completed the first half with his team, which spanned four minutes in stoppage time, but Georgino Wijnaldum could not complete the match due to injury, and PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino decided to replace him at the beginning of the second half, to take his place with Portuguese Danilo Pereira.

Paris Saint-Germain suffers from the absence of many of its basic elements for various reasons, led by Lionel Messi, Neymar, Gueye and Keylor Navas.
