Paris Saint-Germain enters the race to sign Aubameyang

French club Paris Saint-Germain entered the race to sign Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal striker, during the winter transfer market.

And the English newspaper “The Athletic” revealed that the French club Paris Saint-Germain is among the most prominent interested in the inclusion of Gabonese Pierre Emeric Aubameyang.

He was linked with leaving Arsenal after he was excluded from the Gunners squad, and the badge was withdrawn from him due to his lack of commitment and absence from the team’s training without permission.

And the newspaper pointed out that there is more than one big European team that wants to include Pierre Aubameyang, and among these clubs is Paris Saint-Germain.

But the player’s salary is an obstacle for the Paris club, as Aubameyang gets 415,000 euros per week from the Gunners.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract with Arsenal will expire in the summer of 2023, as he still has a season and a half left on his contract, so leaving in January would be the best solution.

The French team Paris Saint-Germain achieved an easy victory over its guest, Stade Reims, by four goals without return, in the confrontation that took place between them on Sunday evening, at the Parc des Princes, in the twenty-second round of the French League competition for the current season 2021-2022.
