Nigeria coach Jose Peseiro confirmed that Egypt is doing the African Nations Cup very well, and that the players’ performance has improved after the group stage.

And Peseiro continued, in statements to the “Koora Every Day” program broadcast on Al-Hayat channel, “Mohamed Salah succeeded in transferring the capabilities of the Egyptian national team players to coach Carlos Queiroz.”

The Nigeria coach added: “Mohamed Salah is the most important player in Egypt during the current period, and he may be the best player in the world.”

Jose Peseiro added that he has not signed any contracts to coach the Nigeria national team so far, noting that he will not talk about this matter until he is officially signed.

The Nigerian Football Association had announced the signing of Jose Peseiro before the start of the African Nations Cup, and that he will start his work after the tournament.

It is noteworthy that Nigeria has been eliminated from the African Nations Cup final by Tunisia.
