Qatar Launches Fan Leader Network for World Cup

In preparation to host the World Cup Qatar 2022, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy announced the launch of the Qatar Fan Leader Network.

According to the committee, the Fan Leader Network focuses on delivering an exceptional fan experience. During the World Cup, which starts in less than a year and a half.

Moreover, the committee explained that the network includes enthusiastic football fans from all over the world. They will share information about Qatar and the World Cup with fans in their countries.

The network aims to increase excitement among the fans for the first World Cup tournament in the Arab world.

Furthermore, the committee stated that since Qatar won the right to host the World Cup. It has emphasized the power of football to stimulate innovation and encourage building bridges between cultures and peoples.

The committee added, as the host country, the fans are our top priority. We seek to provide them with an unprecedented experience.


Qatar Launches Fan Leader Network


Fan Leaders will be granted access to information in order to answer questions about Qatar by fans in their countries.

Mansoor Al Ansari, the Qatar Football Association General Secretary, said. “the Fan Leader Network will help football fans around the world learn more about Qatar’s passion for football and our rich history in the game.”

He added, “By creating this open dialogue with fans. We will reveal more about the next World Cup host nation. And showcase our ambitions to deliver a world-class national team to compete in the World Cup.”

Moreover, the Fan Leader Network is part of a global project to interact with fans from all over the world. The network will include 500 fans from across the world.

They will be chosen based on their passion for their national teams and their roles as influencers in their local community.

On a monthly basis, the fan leaders will compete to generate content related to the World Cup Qatar 2022, with the best post shared on the Supreme Committee’s social media.

In fact, Qatar will invite the leaders to attend important events organized by the Supreme Committee in preparation for the World Cup.
