Real Madrid reach agreement to extend Militao’s contract until 2028

Spanish press reports revealed that Real Madrid had reached an agreement to renew the contract of Brazilian defense center Eder Militao, during the current summer transfer period.

And the Spanish newspaper, “Marca”, stated that the renewal process is continuing in Real Madrid, after the agreement with Rodrygo, a final agreement was also reached with Eder Militao to renew his contract until 2028 during the past hours.

The newspaper added that, as happened in the process of renewing the contracts of Real Madrid players in the last period, the value of the penalty clause in Militao’s contract will reach one billion euros.

Militao arrived in Madrid from Porto in the summer of 2019 for 50 million euros, an amount that made him the most expensive defender in the club’s history.

The Brazilian played 50 games under the leadership of Carlo Ancelotti as a starting player and scored two goals.

And the Spanish newspaper “Marca” said earlier that Real Madrid and Rodrygo Goes, 21, had already closed the agreement to renew the player’s contract for three more seasons to continue in the royal shirt until 2028.

The newspaper added that it remains only to formally sign the contracts, and it may take place next week, explaining that the value of the penalty clause in Rodrigo’s contract will be raised to one billion euros.

It is scheduled to officially announce the renewal of Rodrigo Goes’ contract with Real Madrid in the next few days.
