Real Madrid seeks to get rid of 8 players this summer

Spanish press reports revealed that Real Madrid wants to get rid of eight players during the summer transfer period, as coach Carlo Ancelotti will form his team for the 2022-23 season.

Los Blancos have signed Aurelien Chuamini and Antonio Rudiger in the current Mercato, and Ancelotti recently claimed that the club will not sign other players this summer.

According to the newspaper “Marca”, the Spanish and European champions have made a list of eight unwanted players, and the report claims that Marco Asensio is among the players that Real Madrid want to get rid of, as the Spanish international is still linked to a move to Milan, Arsenal and Liverpool.

The report also indicated that Dani Ceballos, Takefusa Kubo, Jesus Vallejo, Mariano Diaz, Borja Mayoral, Alvaro Odriozola and Reinier Jesus are not wanted at the club for next season.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti recently hinted that he is considering using Eden Hazard as a striker next season when Karim Benzema is unable to play, which will limit Mariano’s minutes.

Los Blancos, who beat Liverpool in the Champions League final at the end of May, will open the pre-season against Barcelona on July 23 before they also face Club America and Juventus.

Next, Ancelotti’s side will face European champions Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Super Cup on August 10 before starting their La Liga campaign away to Almeria on August 14.
