Real Madrid plans to give up another player
A new press report indicated that Real Madrid plans to give up more players in the summer transfer window.
According to EL ESPAÑOL, Spanish player Marco Asensio is close to leaving Real Madrid, during the next summer transfer window.
Headed by Florentino Perez, the administration of Real Madrid plans to give up some of its players in order to finance the most important deal.
In fact, the main goal this summer is to sign Kylian Mbappe, the talent of Paris Saint-Germain.
According to EL ESPAÑOL, the Real Madrid administration has decided to sell Marco Asensio in the summer Mercato, after a 5-year journey for the Spanish star within the club.
The newspaper indicated that the Real Madrid administration set the price of Asensio at 35 million euros to agree to sell him this summer.
It also indicated that what confirms the departure of Real Madrid star Marco Asensio are the statements of the new coach, Carlo Ancelotti.
In the press conference to present him as Real Madrid’s coach, Ancelotti ignored mentioning the player’s name at all.
Ancelotti said in his statements, “The team is very good with experienced players, such as Kroos, Modric, Ramos, Benzema, and Bale.”
He added, “We have young players with high quality, such as Rodrygo, Vinicius and Valverde.” Ancelotti did not mention Asensio at all.
Real Madrid plans to give up Asensio
Liverpool is at the top of the clubs that want to sign Marco Asensio, the Real Madrid winger.
Marco Asensio has a contract with Real Madrid that expires in June 2023. In the event of his departure, he would have been sold two seasons before the end of his contract.
Asensio made his debut for Real Madrid on August 9, 2016. On that day, he played the full 120 minutes. Also, he scored, with a shot from 25 meters away. The match ended with Real Madrid winning 3-2 against Sevilla in the European Super Cup final.
Asensio was born on January 21, 1996. He plays as an attacking midfielder and winger for Real Madrid and the Spain national football team.
