Real Madrid reveals Ceballos’ injury after falling to Egypt at the Olympics

Real Madrid announced the nature of the injury suffered by midfielder Dani Ceballos during his participation with the Spanish national team in the Olympics, as he was injured in front of the national team after a strong intervention from Taher Mohamed Taher, the player of the Pharaohs.

Real Madrid said in a statement on its official website:

“After the tests carried out by our player Dani Ceballos by the Real Madrid medical services, he was diagnosed with a complete rupture of the peroneal ligament, the anterior ankle and the peroneal bone.”

Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos confirmed that he might fit in with Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, who recently coached Real Madrid before the player joined the Royal Club after his participation in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

The player, who was injured in his country’s first match at the Olympics, said:

“There is nothing confirmed yet (about his stay or his departure from Real Madrid) I have clearly expressed my desire and at the moment I am focused on recovering. From the injury that I suffered, which is the most important thing for me.

Ceballos seeks to stay at Real Madrid this season and confirmed that by following up and analyzing Ancelotti’s way of playing, he found that his abilities and his way of playing might suit the needs of the Italian coach in the midfield.
