Real Madrid celebrates Benzema’s award for the best in Spain
Karim Benzema, Real Madrid’s attacking star, won two awards in one day, due to his amazing numbers with the Spanish team in the last period.
Benzema won the “Golden Boy” award presented by the Italian newspaper Toto Sport for the best player of the season.
The French striker received the award for the best player in the 2021-2022 season of the Spanish League in the first edition of the newly created Spanish Football Federation Awards.
The official Real Madrid account on the social networking site “Twitter” also published a picture of Karim Benzema receiving the best award in the Spanish League, commenting on it: Benzema receives the award for the best player in La Liga during the 2021-2022 season, presented by the Football Players Association in Spain.
Benzema recently won the Ballon d’Or for the best player in the world for the 2021-2022 season.
The top scorer in the Spanish League and the Champions League, he scored 44 goals and assisted 15 others in 46 games with Real Madrid last season.
And coach Carlo Ancelotti had announced the injury of French striker Karim Benzema, explaining his absence from the upcoming matches and hoping to catch the World Cup, after he missed the World Cup in Russia 2018, due to personal differences with coach Didier Deschamps.
