Roman Abramovich’s Gift for Champions League Glory

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel talks about the owner of Chelsea’s gift for the Champions League Glory.

Chelsea won the Champions League after defeating Manchester City in the final.

This is the second Champions League title in Chelsea’s history.

They won the 2012 edition against Bayern Munich on penalties.

Similarly, they lost the 2008 final against Manchester United on penalties.

The team gave an outstanding performance throughout the match and missed many opportunities.

The only goal of the match came through Havertz in the 43rd minute, after receiving a perfect pass from his colleague Mason Mount. Then, he dribbled past the Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson and hit the empty net.

Tuchel Talks about the Gift for Champions League Glory

The Chelsea coach is waiting for a gift from Roman Abramovich, the owner of the Blues, after winning the European Champions League.

In statements highlighted by the Mirror, Tuchel said, “I think I already have a new contract. My agent told me something about it, but I don’t know for sure.”

“It was a special moment to meet the owner for the first time on the pitch,” he added.

“It is the best time to have this meeting, or perhaps the worst because the situation may get worse after that,” Tuchel said.

“I want him to know that I’m still hungry to win more, and I really want to win the next title,” he concluded.

Tuchel took over Chelsea in the middle of the last season after the English coach Frank Lampard was sacked due to poor results.
