The Belgian star, Lukaku, who joined Inter Milan from Manchester United, spoke to the “VTM” channel.

He stated, “Yes, I will stay at Inter Milan. Maybe I shouldn’t say that now, but I have already spoken to the man who is expected to become the new coach. It was a very positive conversation.”

He continued, “The challenge is to win the title again. I feel good at Inter. I finally won something, which I loved and want to do again. Perhaps this time with the San Siro full of fans.”

This came in a reference to playing in empty stadiums this season due to the pandemic.

In fact, Lukaku’s current contract with Inter runs until June 2024. However, there were many speculations about the possibility of him moving to another team.

This comes in an attempt by Inter officials to sell some players to reduce the financial impact of the Coronavirus crisis.

Last season, the 28-year-old Inter forward, Lukaku, won the award for the best player in Serie A.

He deserved it after scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus.
