Ronaldo announces his official return to participate with Manchester United in the friendly Vallecano

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo announced that he will return to participate with the Red Devils in the upcoming friendly match against Rayo Vallecano.

Ronaldo commented on an Instagram post about his non-participation in the next two matches against Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano, saying, “Sunday, the king will play.”

Manchester United will meet with Rayo Vallecano of Spain, next Sunday, at Old Trafford, in preparation for the start of the new football season 2022-2023.

Cristiano Ronaldo was absent from the Manchester United squad, who is preparing to play his preparatory match before the start of the new season against Atlético de Madrid, which is scheduled for the second quarter to noon tomorrow, Saturday, at the “Leval Stadium”, in the city of Oslo, the capital of Norway.

The absence of Portuguese star Ronaldo from Manchester United’s list came in light of the player’s absence from the preparatory period for the new season 2022-2023, due to his desire to leave the club, which will be absent from participating in the Champions League next season.

Manchester United will start the new season of the English Premier League against Brighton, in the match scheduled for next August 7.

And the English newspaper “Daily Mail” indicated that Ronaldo made it clear to the Manchester United management that he wanted to leave Old Trafford before the summer transfer market closed, in light of his desire to join one of the competing clubs in the Champions League next season.

The newspaper pointed out that talks between the Portuguese striker, executives and coach Eric Ten Hag failed to persuade the player to remain in the Manchester United camp and Ronaldo put forward his demand to terminate the contract.
