World Cup 2022.. Cristiano Ronaldo tops Portugal’s World Cup list

 

Fernando Santos, coach of the Portugal national team, revealed the list of the 2022 World Cup, which will be hosted by Qatar from November 20 to December 18, in 8 different stadiums.

 

Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo topped the list of the Portuguese national team for the Qatar World Cup, in addition to his teammate Bruno Fernandes, along with Manchester City star Bernardo Silva, while Paris Saint-Germain’s Renato Sanchez is absent from the list.

 

The Brazil national team will compete in the World Cup in Qatar, in the eighth and final group, along with South Korea, Uruguay and Ghana.

 

The list of the Portuguese national team is as follows:

 

Goalkeeper – Diogo Costa (FC Porto), Jose Sa (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Rui Patricio (Roma).

 

 

Defenders: Diogo Dalot (Manchester United), Joao Cancelo (Manchester City), Danilo Pereira (Paris Saint-Germain), Pepe (Porto), Rubén Diaz (Manchester City), Antonio Silva (Benfica), Nuno Mendes (Paris Saint-Germain) and Rafael Guerrero. (Borussia Dortmund).

 

Midfield: Joao Balenha (Fulham), Ruben Neves (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Joao Mario (Benfica), Mateos Nunes (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Otavio Montero (Porto) and Vitina ( Paris Saint-Germain) and William Carvalho (Real Betis).

 

Forwards: André Silva (RB Leipzig), Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United), Gonzalo Ramos (Benfica), Joao Felix (Atletico Madrid), Rafael Leao (AC Milan), Ricardo Horta (Braga).
