Sadio Mane: I chose Bayern Munich because they fight for all the titles

Senegalese star Sadio Mane, who will move to Bayern Munich, confirmed that he chose the Bavarian team because it competes for all titles every season, after he decided to leave Liverpool.

The Senegalese star, Sadio Mane, the Liverpool winger, appeared in the Bayern Munich shirt for the first time after a medical examination with the Bavarian on Tuesday morning.

“When my agent first told me about Bayern Munich’s interest, I was immediately excited, I saw myself there, for me it was the right club at the right time,” Mane told German newspaper Bild, before the deal was officially announced.

“Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world and the team is always fighting for every title, so for me it was a very good idea and the right decision to come here.”

He continued: “My agent told me that there are inquiries from other clubs. This is part of the work. But I immediately felt when Bayern presented his project to me. I found myself in the Bayern project more than any other club.”

Sadio Mane is scheduled to sign a 3-year contract with Bayern Munich, in a deal worth 41 million euros.
