Mohamed Salah is waiting for a new offer from Liverpool before making the decision to leave for free

English press reports revealed that the Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, is giving priority to renewing his contract with Liverpool, despite the fact that the two parties have not yet agreed to sign a new contract, in order for the Egyptian pharaoh to complete his career with the Reds.

And according to the “Liverpool Echo” newspaper, Mohamed Salah is still waiting to receive a new offer from the Liverpool administration, before deciding whether to renew his contract or leave in the summer of 2023 free of charge.

And the British newspaper, “The Athletic”, had indicated in a report yesterday, Wednesday, that the Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, would leave Liverpool, in the event that an offer was not made that would prompt him to renew his contract according to the conditions he wanted to obtain.

The newspaper added that the last offer that the Egyptian pharaoh received from the management of his club in order to renew his contract is an increase of only 15% over his current salary of 200,000 pounds per week, an offer that Mohamed Salah deems inappropriate for his history with football.

And Mohamed Salah, 29, wants to continue with Liverpool and play in the English Premier League, which he prefers to leave outside England.

It is worth noting that Mohamed Salah won the Golden Boot as the Premier League’s top scorer for the 2021-2022 season, equally with South Korea’s Heung Min Son.
