Senegal succeeded in reaching the final of the African Nations Cup, after defeating Burkina Faso 3-1 in the match that was held between them on Wednesday evening, in the framework of the semi-final matches of the African Nations Cup, which is currently being held in Cameroonian soil and continues until February 6.
Senegal scored its first and second goals through Abdou Diallo and Nambalis Mendy in the 70th and 76th minutes, respectively.
While Ibrahim Blati Toure reduced the difference in the 82nd minute of the match, before Sadio Mane ended the horses dreams of returning to the match with the third goal.
With this result, Senegal reaches the final of the African Nations Cup for the second time in a row after the 2019 African Nations final in Egypt, which it lost to Algeria, and the third in its history, but it did not succeed in winning the title before, as it lost the previous two matches.
Senegal is waiting for the winner of the match between Egypt and Cameroon, scheduled for Thursday evening, at nine in the evening, in the other semi-final round.
