Manchester United are close to signing the Borussia Dortmund star

Manchester United are close to signing Jadon Sancho, the Borussia Dortmund winger, this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Man United has known since April that Borussia Dortmund wants 95 million euros to sell Sancho.

Negotiations are continuing between the two clubs. But, the personal terms of the player’s contract until 2026 have been agreed upon, as well as agent fees.

Negotiations continue on payment terms and additions, and how to raise the total amount of the deal to 95 million euros.

The negotiations might take a long time. But all the people involved are now confident that the deal will happen.

Furthermore, there seems to be some caution in finalizing this deal because of what happened in the talks over the past year.

The Red Devils are confident in obtaining the signing of the young winger, as Borussia Dortmund has shown flexibility in reducing the required amount.

The 21-year-old Sancho had joined the ranks of the BVB 4 years ago, coming from Manchester City.

The deal cost 8 million pounds. He scored 50 goals and assisted 64 others in 137 games.

Thus, Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjær believes that Sancho is an ideal deal. He has a distinctive talent, which has attracted the interest of Europe’s top clubs.

Now, Sancho is in the English squad of Gareth Southgate to compete in the Euro in a group that includes Croatia, Scotland, and the Czech Republic.
