Surprise! Mohamed Salah at the Top of Chelsea’s List in the Mercato

Mohamed Salah is at the top of Chelsea’s list in Mercato, as the London team is looking to support the team with a super deal.

Chelsea, along with many major European clubs, wants to sign with Mohamed Salah.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich were the most prominent clubs interested in joining the Egyptian international player.

Salah caught the eye since the beginning of his professional career in Basel, Switzerland. Then he moved to Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea.

However, the Portuguese coach did not give Salah enough opportunity to prove his potential. So the player left on loan to Fiorentina and then to Rome.

After Italy, Mo Salah was sold to Liverpool for 42 million euros in 2017.

In fact, the Pharaoh’s contract with Liverpool will expire in June 2023, and his current market value is over 80 million euros.

Mohamed Salah is at the top of Chelsea’s list

According to what the German newspaper “Sport Bild” reported on Friday, Thomas Tuchel decided to correct Jose Mourinho’s wrong decision.

The Chelsea coach at the time, Mourinho, had decided to lay off the services of Mohamed Salah when he was the coach of the Blues in 2015.

Tuchel now intends to bring the brilliant striker again to London’s club for the next season 2021/2022.

The German newspaper confirmed that Salah is one of the most prominent options that Chelsea coach Tochel has considered to strengthen his team for the next season.

Chelsea is also considering the Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, the star of Borussia Dortmund, as well as the Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku of Inter Milan.

A distinct performance for Chelsea with Tuchel

Tuchel, with Chelsea, managed to achieve great success after leading the team as a substitute for ex-coach Frank Lampard.

Thomas pulled the team out before falling into the abyss. Thanks to him, the team finished among the big four in the English Premier League.

Furthermore, the team is preparing for two finals now. The first will be against Leicester City for the English League Cup.

The second and most important final will be in front of Manchester City for the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League title.
