Al-Hilal has signed the Malian striker Moussa Marega on a free transfer from the Portuguese club, Porto.

Yesterday, the striker arrived to Riyadh, in preparation for joining the team.

The reports revealed that the player will receive 69 million Saudi Riyals, 23 million Riyals a year.

Marega will receive 1.9 million Riyals monthly. This means that he receives 479,000 Riyals per week, 78,400 Riyals per day.

Al-Hilal has not revealed any other foreign deals besides the Malian player, Moussa Marega.

The president of the team, Fahad bin Nafil, confirmed that the deals in the current Mercato will be limited.

The management of Al-Hilal has not decided the fate of the foreign players in the team.

The team includes André Carrillo from Peru, Cuéllar from Colombia, Bafétimbi Gomis from France, Sebastian Giovinco from Italy, Luciano Vietto from Argentina, and Jang Hyun-soo from South Korea.

It is noteworthy that the management of Al-Hilal managed to obtain a certificate of financial competence that allows the club to register new players during the current summer transfer window.

Many observers wondered about the secret of the financial stability of the club, while other clubs suffer from deficit spending and debts because of the Corona pandemic that has affected the world for two years now.

The player will start practicing with the team after the end of the quarantine period. Then, he will leave with the squad to Austria for a training camp until the 2nd of August.

In the last season of the Saudi Professional League, Al-Hilal managed to win the title with 61 points, after a strong competition against Al-Shabab with 57 points. Al-Ittihad ranked third with 56 points.
