Besiktas reach agreement to loan Trezeguet for 3 million euros
Press reports revealed that the Turkish club Besiktas reached an agreement with the Egyptian star Mahmoud Trezeguet, the English player of Aston Villa, to borrow him with the intention of selling starting from the new season 2023.
Trezeguet has played on loan to the famous Basaksehir team in the Turkish League since last season, where the Egyptian has been defending the colors of Aston Villa since the summer of 2019.
The Turkish newspaper, “hurriyet”, said that Trezeguet reached an agreement with Jehon Kazanci, the sporting director of the Turkish club Besiktas, for the first time, since the beginning of the negotiations with the player, which began several months ago.
The newspaper pointed out that the agreement between the player and the sporting director included the payment of Besiktas 3 million euros in favor of Aston Villa, with the activation of the clause to buy the player for 8 million euros.
Trezeguet played 13 games with Basaksehir in the Turkish league, since he moved to the team on loan in the last winter Mercato, and the player presented very distinguished levels with his team that restored the confidence of the Egyptian fans in his abilities.
Trezeguet succeeded in contributing 10 goals with the Turkish team in less than four months, scoring 6 goals and making 4 others in the 13 matches he played.
The Egyptian international came at the top of the list of professionals announced by Ihab Galal for the matches of Guinea and Ethiopia, and these numbers contribute to tipping the balance of Trezeguet in the first gathering of the Pharaohs under the leadership of Ihab Galal.
Aston Villa contracted with the Egyptian player from Kassem Pasha in the summer of 2019, and participated in the Aston Villa shirt in 64 matches, during which he scored 9 goals and assisted 5 others.
