Trezeguet starts with Trabzon against Copenhagen in the Champions League
The Egyptian star Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, the Turkish player of Trabzonspor, was in the starting lineup of his team against his Danish counterpart Copenhagen, which is scheduled to be held in the first leg of the decisive qualifying round for the group stage of the Champions League during the 2022-2023 edition.
The Parken Stadium in the Danish capital will host the Copenhagen match against Trabzonspor at nine in the evening, Tuesday, Cairo time, in the qualifying match for the group stage of the Champions League for the current season 2023.

Trabzon seeks to participate in the group stage of the next edition of the European Champions League by crossing Denmark’s Copenhagen in the play-off of the qualifying rounds.
Trabzon was crowned champion of the last edition of the Turkish Super League, after the competition remained fierce until the last moments with Besiktas.
The return match between Trabzon and Copenhagen will be held on Wednesday, 24 August, at Medical Park, at nine o’clock in the evening, Cairo time.
Trezeguet participated mainly in the three matches that Trabzon played this season, and was in the squad list that is preparing to face the Danish league title holder.
Trezeguet joined the ranks of the Turkish Trabzonspor from Aston Villa, the English club, and participated in 3 matches and did not score or assist any goal yet.
The Trabzonspor team also won the Turkish Super Cup, after its great victory over Sivasspor, 4-0, in the match that brought the two teams together, at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
