UEFA reveals developed countries with initial files to organize Euro 2028 and 2032



Today, Wednesday, the European Football Association (UEFA) revealed the countries that submitted their candidacy files to host the Euro 2028 and 2032 tournaments, as the deadline for submitting the final files will be April 12, 2023, and the organizers will be announced in the fall of 2023.


UEFA confirmed today, Wednesday, that it had received the preliminary file of three candidates to host the 2028 and 2032 editions of the European Nations Cup. The application deadline was November 16.


The football associations of England, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales submitted a bid to host Euro 2028, and Turkey applied for both versions (2028 and 2032), while Italy submitted a bid for Euro 2032.


The deadline for submitting final files will be April 12, 2023, and tournament organizers will be appointed in fall 2023.


It is worth noting that Germany will host the next edition of the European Nations Cup in the summer of 2024.


The Italian national team won the last Euro title, at the expense of its counterpart England in the final match.
